The Knife Place was founded in 1989 by Dick Plank in Lakeland, FL. Dick operated a locally owned successful business for 20 years before deciding to retire in mid 2009. In August of 2009 Patrick Gaskins, a former customer, purchased "The Knife Place". Patrick has collected and used knives for the majority of his life. Collecting affordable knives was a past-time and family tradition that was much enjoyed coming from a small rural town. The company specializes in Collectible Modern and Vintage Pocket Knives.
The Knife Place carriers a variety of usable or collectible knives ranging in manufacture date from the 1900's to 2010. The business is dedicated to perfection in the quality and wide array of products they offer to the consumers whether it be Collectible or Modern and Vintage Pocket Knives!
